ATP Scan in progress Stuck in emails

Hello,

Sometimes email attachments are stuck on “ATP Scan in progress” for a long time and attachment is not released from ATP server. You have no control on this process.

So let me tell you the reason for it. Sometimes users make a rule to move email to folder in online archive and online archive is not meant for performance, it is for storage purpose and uses slow hardware resources because of that users face this issue.

To fix it please ask users to make a folder in primary mailbox and ask them to first move these emails to that folder and then user can move emails from primary mailbox to archiving mailbox.
